A member of the notorious Leading Hotels of the World group, the centrally located Sacher Wien is a majestic hotel founded in 1876. The hotel is placed in a privileged position, across from Vienna’s State Opera. The hotel has a luxurious past and has served as a popular movie setting for the likes of Graham Greene’s 1949 film, The Third Man.
