The Dalmahoy Estate is centred on an exquisite early -18th century mansion designed by William Adam for the Earl of Stair. The house and estate became a small hotel in 1976 and since then the house and 1000 acre grounds have been sympathetically upgraded and developed to now offer guests a choice of 215 rooms and suites, a leisure club with indoor pool, two restaurants and bars and two golf courses.
