The Boat Country Inn is located in the village of Boat of Garten in Strathspey by the Cairngorms National Park. The village is easily accessible being only 5 minutes off the A9, is close to the popular town of Aviemore and in an ideal location for exploring all that Speyside has to offer.
The original Victorian building has been refurbished and updated and now features 34 Classic and Deluxe rooms all offering complimentary Wi-Fi. The bar and restaurant and firm favourites with tourists and locals alike and offer a hearty menu with an accent on local Scottish produce.
Local attractions include the Strathspey Steam Railway and the Boat of Garten golf course as well as wildlife walks and tours. Aviemore has a wide range of shops and restaurants and the A95 follows the River Spey from Boat of Garten on the whisky trail, with visitor centres at some of the world’s most famous whiskies including The Macallan, Aberlour and Glenlivet.
