Pine Trees Hotel, Pitlochry Overview
Location: Pitlochry, Scotland
Pine Trees Hotel sits above the pretty Perthshire town of Pitlochry. Sitting in its own wooded grounds the hotel’s Main House has rooms and suites along with the bar and restaurant. There are further buildings that house more rooms and suites, all with a nod to the history of the structures and Heatherbank Cottage offers a unique stay in a private cottage. The hotel is a short drive or 10-minute walk from the centre of Pitlochry where you can find many places to eat and drink and the surrounding area offers excellent walking trails along the River Tay and beyond.
The rooms are cosy in design; the entry level rooms are called Coorie Rooms (coorie means snuggle or nestle in Scots) and this gives you an idea of how the hotel want you to relax into your stay. The room designs give a nod to the history of the property and the surrounding countryside with great modern touches along the way. Bathrooms all have showers, some suites come with bathtubs too.
Fauna Restaurant is open from breakfast, lunch and dinner and prides itself on offering the best local produce available and menus will change with the seasons. Flora Bar offers intimate booth style seats along with some open tables and has a fine malt collection and extensive cocktail menu.
A visit to Pitlochry can be a wonderful break on its own or can be your starting point for a Highland adventure. Call our expert team on 0131 243 8098 to chat through the options or drop us a note via our enquiry form.
