We suggest! Visit the Trevi Fountain after 6pm when the crowds have dissipated from the surrounding narrow streets and you are able to fully admire this amazing Baroque extravaganza which completely overwhelms the tiny piazza.

Rome is truly a unique destination; the whole city is one large open air museum. Ancient Roman columns lay strewn at your feet along the pavements, as if idly cast aside when there were so many other ancient relics deserving of attention. To bring yourself back into the present, stop for an Italian coffee and ice cream in one of Rome's lively piazzas, perhaps the most popular being the Piazza Navonna but there are many more waiting to be discovered on the quieter side streets.
