We suggest! Head to the Cours Saleya in the old city first thing in the morning in order to experience the wonderful colour and scents of the flower market and adjoining fruit and vegetable market.

Nice is the unofficial capital of the Cote d'Azur, an elegant lady with an irrepressible air of fun. Stroll along the beautiful Promenade des Anglais before diving into the charming old city streets with their tiny shops, cafes and galleries. A walk to the top of Le Chateau with its pleasant park will be rewarded with stunning views over the colourful port on one side and the Baie des Anges on the other. For those staying a little longer, there are some great day trips from Nice reached either by hire car or train - Monaco, St Tropez and Grasse to name just a few.
